The Old Gold come into the game having won five successive matches in the Northern Premier Division, consolidating their top four place in the league standings.

Victories over West Brom, Huddersfield, Stourbridge, Halifax and Fylde have seen Dan McNamara’s side put together an impressive run as the season comes to a close.

And on their way to five on the bounce, Wolves have scored a total of 20 goals, with striker Amber Hughes also netting eight in her last six.

Meanwhile, Forest, who sit a place above Wolves in third, haven’t tasted defeat in the league since November, when they were beaten at home by Newcastle.

The Reds have lost just three league matches all season and are on an 11-game unbeaten streak which has left them just a point off Burnley in second having played a game less.

The two sides have already met twice this season in league and cup, with Forest running out 2-0 winners on both occasions. In this fixture last season, Wolves were 3-1 victors thanks to goals from Destiney Toussaint and Jade Cross (2).
