We are sadly informed of the deaths of supporters on a regular basis and club staff never fail to be moved when a message is received notifying us that a supporter has passed away.
We receive many requests regarding the pitch side burial and scattering of ashes. Unfortunately, we can no longer accommodate these requests, partly because of the sheer volume of requests, but also because of ground and pitch renovations, which would see any ashes regularly disturbed.
The club currently have the following options allowing supporters to be able to remember their loved ones
Book of Remembrance
The Book of Remembrance is housed in a glass case at main reception in the Billy Wright Stand at Molineux. The pages are turned daily so that they can be viewed by visitors. A professional calligrapher is commissioned to enter the messages in the book.
The cost of each entry is £30 payable to ‘Wolves Foundation’ (A Wolverhampton Wanderers registered charity). We can also include an illustration of the Wolves Crest or Shirt next to your written entry for an additional fee of £10. Each inscription can be a maximum of 50 letters.
Applications can be made online by clicking here.

Annual Fans Memorial Service
The Annual Fans Memorial Service was introduced in response to hundreds of requests for pre-match tributes to have fans' ashes scattered at Molineux which is not now possible.
Each season we hold a special event at St Peter's Collegiate Church in Wolverhampton City Centre where the Club's Chaplain, the Rev David Wright, leads a service remembering loved ones who have passed away in recent years. The service takes place before a home match and fans are invited to attend and hear the names of our lost fans and Wolves legends read out to the congregation.
For more information on the next memorial service please check wolves.co.uk or email fanservices@wolves.co.uk.
