Established in 2024, Houston Wolves were founded with the vision centred on individual player development and provides unparalleled resources tailored to the unique needs of both players and coaches. At the heart of the partnership lies a shared passion for the beautiful game and a rich history that binds the two clubs together. Derek Williams, a founding Houston Wolves Soccer Club member, traces his allegiance back to the 1970s when he attended his first Old Gold game! Witnessing Wolves triumphs in the 1974 and 1980 League Cup finals at Wembley Stadium ignited a lifelong dedication to the club. This sentiment has been passed down through generations of the Williams family with his sons, Stephen, Adam and now Grandson Grayson.
Partnership with Wolves
Wolves are delighted to be partnered with Houston Wolves Soccer club out in Texas, USA. In June 2024, two advanced coaches from Wolves flew out to Houston to deliver our first soccer camp and coach education with HWSC. In addition to our coach ed delivery Stateside, Wolves continue to support the Houston coaches with monthly video calls to share with them the Wolves way. In 2025 Wolves will be hosting WHSC at Molineux and Compton when they'll bring over players and parents to experience Wolves live!
