The winger enjoyed a season to remember under Darren Ryan’s Under-18 coaching and on loan at AFC Telford United in the National League North.
The youngster was acknowledged at the club’s End of Season dinner recently and was delighted to collect his award on stage in his hometown of Telford.
“It was an amazing feeling. I’ve been through a lot over the years with the injuries, but to come away with the award has put the icing on the cake,” he said.
“It’s a massive honour when you hear nice things from the coaches because it shows they believe in you. Their belief has brought the best out of me and I’d like to thank them.”
The youngster spent the second-half of the campaign on loan at the New Bucks Head and now returns to Molineux better for the experience gained in the sixth tier of English football.
“It was a challenge I needed and when it came about it was great for me to go out. I played a lot of games and I was happy to contribute what I did.
“I’d like to thank everyone for giving me the opportunity to show what I can do, now I’ve got a good chance to enjoy myself and kick-on next season,” he added.
