Academy duo Wes Okoduwa and Luke Rawlings have received call-ups to the latest England under-16 squad.
The Young Lions travel to Paris at the end of the month to compete in the Val De Marne Tournament where they will play three fixtures against Japan, France and Switzerland.
This is the second time right-back Okoduwa has been selected by head coach Neil Ryan after making his international bow in the August double-header with Italy.
He recently featured in the under-21s squad for the first time after being named on the substitutes bench in the EFL Trophy defeat at Lincoln City.
Midfielder Rawlings is called-up for the very first time after impressively making the step up to play in Richard Walker’s under-18s. His two sensational solo goals have helped secure victories against Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers in the under-17 Premier League Cup in recent weeks.
Both players were key performers in last month’s International Youth Cup in South Korea, while cementing their places in the under-18s squad despite being aged just 15.
Meanwhile, Old Gold attacker Emilio Ballard-Matthews is on standby for the tournament having featured in the previous under-16 squad in August.
