Sebastian Lochhead praised the mentality of his teammates and insists they should’ve taken all three points following a 2-2 draw at home to Middlesbrough on Saturday.
Wolves under-18s delivered a hard-working performance despite fielding an injury-depleted side, with Lochhead speaking post-match on the team’s attitude, their togetherness as a unit, and his adapting to life in Wolverhampton following a move from Dundee last summer.
On the performance against Boro
“I thought we dug in really well, we conceded two really poor goals in my opinion that we shouldn’t have conceded, and we wouldn’t have conceded on any other day.
“I think the lads stuck at it and we dug in really well, they really gave their all and I’m proud of the boys.”
On the team’s chemistry improving
“I think it’s getting much better, I really do.
"Even though the results haven’t gone our way the past few games, I thought today was a real stepping stone.
“We’ve got a lot of boys out, but with the boys on the pitch we were able to put together a really good performance, and we should’ve took three points.”
On life at the club
“Personally, it has been tough, because of the injury with my knee.
“But now I feel ready to go, I had work on it the other week.
“I just want to push on and have a solid second half of the season, and hopefully kick on.”
