The local radio station’s live stage will be located on the corner of the Steve Bull and Sir Jack Hayward Stands, outside of the subway, where thousands of supporters pass pre-match.
With the Wanderers faithful already in fine voice this season, it’s hoped the pre-match entertainment can help enhance the decibel levels and make Molineux a cauldron of noise as Nuno’s men go searching for another vital three points against Hull.
The stage will be hosted by Signal 107 FM DJ, Dicky Dodd, who’ll be playing live music, interviewing fans and former players, and issuing giveaways.
Russell Jones, Head of Marketing, said: “We met with a group of supporters recently and agreed that live pre-match music in a fan-park style environment could help crank up the atmosphere before home games.
“The area where the stage will be located is usually one of the busiest on a matchday so we hope supporters will arrive early to enjoy the build-up.
Tuesday will be the first of four trial games for the stage, which will also be in place for the Derby County, Birmingham City and Sheffield Wednesday fixtures, as supporters and club prepare to give everything during the run-in.
In additional to the live stage, the club will be running a buy one get one free offer on Carling inside Molineux in the build-up to the game, in a bid to encourage an early start to the pre-match atmosphere inside the stadium.
The offer will run in all concourses between 6:30pm – 7:15pm prior to the match, with bottles available at all kiosks and the deal extending to pints in the Stan Cullis Stand.
With bottles of Carling usually £4 inside Molineux, the offer will see supporters enjoying a bottle for just £2.
