Both have been indispensable as Wolves made it to the Premier League by lifting the Championship title.
Neves lifted the Player and Players’ Player of the Season awards, as well as Goal of the Season for his unbelievable strike against Derby County.
However, Neves praised the support of his team mates and fans when claiming his award: “We have a fantastic team, it was an amazing year, an amazing season.
“What a night for all the players. The fans are incredible, we have a fantastic club. Me and my mates are proud of this club and we have to say thank you to all the fans.”
While now is a time for relaxing, Neves is already concentrating on improving for next season’s Premier League campaign at Molineux.
“Now we have to enjoy our holidays with our families so we can come back and do it well.
“My goal is to improve myself, every game and every training session. If I can do more I will do next season.
“We’ve improved along this season but you can expect a lot more from us next season,” he said.
Jota, who, like Neves, enjoyed a fine first season at Molineux, was the recipient of the Top Goalscorer award for his 18 goals netted across the campaign.
After the awards, he said: “I said in my first interview I want to contribute with assists and goals, because that’s what my position requires.
“I know I can have a chance from a few yards or long yards, I have to take advantage from every chance I get to score.
“Fortunately, I was able to participate a good amount of goals, but the most is important is we reached our goal of promotion.
“It was an amazing season, not just for me but for all the club. It was a season we’ll always remember.”
The season may be over, but Jota is already excited to test himself on England’s biggest stage of the Premier League.
“It’s part of the job, when you do things good people notice and try to stop you doing that for their own good, but with our team I think we’re going to make a good season next year.
“It’s a dream come true, I always watched the Premier League as a kid and I’m really looking forward to it and I’ll do my best,” he added.
