The three-year contract is to manage Wolves’ print systems, which includes the supply and maintenance of Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5500 series devices.
Kingswinford-based Altodigital, which has 12 offices around the UK, has a well-established reputation for working with high-profile sports clubs, including Arsenal, Huddersfield Town, Glamorgan County Cricket Club and Cardiff Devils ice hockey team.
Tim Hubbard, of Altodigital, said: “Our partnership with Wolves goes back 10 years, so it’s fantastic that we’ve been able to renew the contract. I believe our success with the club is not just about the equipment we provide, but the service. The club can always count on us to deliver.
“Under the new contract we’ll be installing Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5500 series devices at Molineux and the club’s training facilities at Compton Park. Canon UK & Ireland is a world-leading innovator and provider of imaging and IT solutions for offices and its brand is among the best, which is why it’s such a fitting partner for Wolves.
“Additionally, a key part of the club’s requirement is to become more environmentally friendly, including reducing waste. Staff will now have to use their door key cards to release print jobs, meaning no more carte blanche printing and significantly less waste.”
Laurie Dalrymple, Wolves’ managing director, said: “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Altodigital as we’ve been very happy with its service over the past decade. The club expects the best in everything we do, on and off the field, so there’s a pressure on our partners and suppliers to meet certain expectations, and Altodigital certainly does that.”
James Pittick, Director of B2B Indirect Sales, Canon UK & Ireland, added: “We’re proud to be working alongside Altodigital on its ongoing partnership with Wolverhampton Wanderers. The club will benefit from our range of imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5500 series devices together with the security functions of our uniFLOW system. This system will provide one on-premise integrated software solution that will manage all printing and scanning workflows and devices.”
Altodigital, which launched in 1987, provides a range of products and services, including print, document management and office supplies for businesses across the UK. Its clients primarily operate within the corporate, housing, healthcare, government, legal and education sectors.
