Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will visit China for the first time in the club’s history as Wolves face two matches in the biennial competition – against Newcastle United on Wednesday 17th July in Nanjing and either Manchester City or West Ham United on Saturday 20th July in Shanghai.
The Wolves squad will be based in Shanghai for the duration of the tournament before travelling to Nanjing on the day of the semi-final, and supporters are encouraged to do the same.
“We have a busy summer schedule to look forward to, some really exciting fixtures and increased overseas travel for the team and our supporters,” said Wolves managing director Laurie Dalrymple.
“We know that lots of fans will be keen to see the side play in China, and the Supporter Services team have been working hard to secure access to the most affordable packages for them.
“We are delighted to confirm that we have teamed up with our partners Thomas Cook, who are offering some really competitive packages that we hope will make planning the trip a simpler process for all those looking to travel.”
