‘Wolves In China’ will be shown on Monday evening on Sky Sports Premier League ahead of the live Monday Night Football, when Wolves take on Manchester United at Molineux.
Nuno Espírito Santo’s team was based in Shanghai, home of the club’s owners Fosun International, during the tour.
Over the course of a week of intensive filming, Sky’s cameras captured the unique trip, which involved players and management taking part in a rooftop fashion show, a tai chi masterclass, local schools coaching, the opening of the new Wolves Megastore and the Asia Trophy itself, which ended in a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Premier League champions Manchester City.
Featuring interviews with head coach Nuno, chairman Jeff Shi, captain Conor Coady and a host of other players and backroom staff, the documentary charts the ground-breaking trip and gives an insight into the ownership’s ambitions for the future, as Wolves make their mark in Asia.
‘Wolves in China’ will be shown at 6pm and 11pm on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event on Monday 19th August.
