Like in July, a vaccination bus will be at Molineux from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th September, allowing anyone over the age of 18 to get one of the two doses of the life-saving jab and help support the battle against Covid-19.
Located on the Stan Cullis car park, in front of the Molineux Megastore, the clinic will offer both Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines, as first or second doses, depending on the individual.
There is no need to book an appointment, simply visit the vaccination clinic between the times below, and staff on site will guide you through the process.
- Thursday 9th September | 1-6pm
- Friday 10th September | 11am-6pm
- Saturday 11th September | 11am-6pm
- Sunday 12th September | 11am-6pm
On the event, head of Wolves Foundation Will Clowes said: “We’re delighted to be again supporting the vaccine programme in Wolverhampton, in partnership with Wolverhampton Public Health team. Providing our facilities here at Molineux will hopefully encourage local people to come along and receive their vaccine over the next few days.”
Also reiterating the importance of the vaccine was Wolves head coach Bruno Lage, who said: “I arrived here with no vaccine and I’ve already taken two. All my players go as well because I go with them. Here, it’s not a question. We all need to do the best thing to come to normal life.
“That’s why I did it and that’s why all my players did it. It’s important for all the world, not only the players. The quicker we can return to the normal world, I think will be good for everyone.”
The second Molineux based clinic is the latest step Wolves have made to support the fight against Covid-19, following Fosun’s mask and PPE donations, the Foundation’s Feed Our Pack initiative, which raised over £½m for food poverty initiatives in the city and the club charity’s fundraiser, which brought in over £50,000 for the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.
