Visiting his club from Seattle, on a voyage he describes as his “dream trip”, Scott is spending ten days in Wolverhampton, meeting staff, observing the workings behind a Premier League football club, sharing his own expertise and embedding himself in the club he loves.
The Wolves Radio host will be documenting his trip through a series of WV1 episodes, with show number one seeing him speak to Neil Pennington, stadium tour guide, and Russell Jones, general manager of marketing and commercial growth, and it’s now live on Wolves Radio.
A lifelong Wolves supporter in America, Scott helps bring Wolves Radio alive with his presenting, and has helped developed the station into a successful outlet in its opening year.
A massive music fan, Scott originally found Wolves through learning of Robert Plant's mutual love of the club. His work with NBA Digital, NBC Bay Area Sports and now Soundsystem, which hosts Wolves Radio programming, is part of several decades of work in sports media.
Now in Wolverhampton, Scott has attended the recent victories over Watford and Everton, gaining an insight into the mechanisms behind a matchday and also experiencing the passion supporters have for the club in person.
Speaking to members of staff at Molineux and Compton Park has further enriched his visit and each day Scott will release a new episode, charting his trip, where he’ll speak to different members of the team behind the team.
Following the maiden episode, episode two will drop later on Monday, documenting Scott’s trip to Merseyside through interviews with Wolves TV presenter Gemma Frith and club photographer Jack Thomas.
