Travelling supporter information | Newcastle vs Wolves

Wolves head north on Friday evening to take on Newcastle United in the Premier League and will be backed by more than 3,000 fans.

Old gold supporters will pack out the away end at St James’ Park for the 8pm kick-off and below wolves.co.uk presents all the important information which may be beneficial before making the trip.

How do I get to St. James' Park?

St. James' Park is a city centre stadium and is located in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne.

While there is public parking available close to the stadium, supporters are recommended to take a look at the dedicated travel hub - www.altoonativetravel.com - for a wide range of transport options.

You'll find a journey planner, fare information and even information about the weather!

How do I access the stadium?

Your match ticket contains all the information you need about accessing the stadium and the stand you'll be sat in. Your block, row and seat number are printed on the front and correspond with the stadium plan on the reverse.

At the turnstile, simply place your ticket in the barcode scanner to unlock the gate.

Should you need anything on your approach to St. James' Park, at the turnstile or inside the ground, stewards - identifiable by their high-visibility jackets and vests - will be happy to help.

Maps and information points are also located around the stadium.

Where do away fans sit?

Away fans are situated on level 7 of the Leazes Stand. There are 140 stairs and 14 landing up to level 7 seating.

What time do turnstiles open?

Turnstiles in all areas of the stadium open 90 minutes before kick-off.

Can I buy food and drink at the stadium?

Supporters are offered a range of hot and cold snacks and beverages at concourse kiosks throughout the stadium.
