The final whistle will draw a curtain on the 2021/22 campaign on Wolverhampton soil and provide an opportunity for supporters and players to show their appreciation and celebrate the season’s top performers.
Wolves Women won the Birmingham County Cup on Wednesday evening, the latest success story of their campaign, and players will have the opportunity to parade the trophy and soak in Molineux’s appreciation, one week before their promotion play-off at Edgeley Park.
The men’s first-team will then follow on to the pitch, accompanied by their families, and will have the opportunity to thank fans for their support this season.
Then, five end of season awards will be handed out on the pitch, presented by local DJ Dicky Dodd and Wolves TV host Gemma Frith.
Supporters have been voting for their Player of the Season and Goal of the Season this week, and both winners will be revealed on the Molineux pitch.
Winners of the Players’ Player of the Season, Academy Player of the Season and Women’s Player of the Season will also be confirmed after the final whistle at Molineux.
Supporters in attendance on Sunday are encouraged to remain in their seats following the full-time whistle, in order to show their appreciation for both groups and cap off the 2021/22 campaign.
