For those making the journey, here is everything you need to know…

Matchday information

Due to industrial action, there is a limited rail timetable in operation this week which will impact travel to Villa Park on Wednesday evening.

There will be a limited service running between Wolverhampton and Birmingham, and Birmingham to Aston, until 6pm only. Services will not operate after this time, and there will be no service to/from Witton station.

Supporters are advised to use alternative options as national travel advice this week is to only travel by rail if necessary. There will be no rail services between Birmingham and Wolverhampton following the game.

Wolves’ visiting fans will be located in the northeast corner of the Doug Ellis Stand, with the allocation split into two sections, Doug Ellis Lower Block Q and Doug Ellis Upper Block P.

Supporters who are housed in Doug Ellis Upper should use turnstiles P87, P88 or P89, and from ground level there are several flights of stairs to reach the upper concourse area (64 steps in total). Those sat in Doug Ellis Lower should use turnstiles Q91 to Q96.

Should supporters arrive after kick-off, turnstiles Q96 and/or P89 will remain open until the second-half has started.

On matchdays, a traffic exclusion zone imposed around Villa Park to exclude vehicles on the following roads: Witton Lane from the junction with Aston Hall Road to the traffic island at Witton Road, and Trinity Road between Nelson Road and Witton Lane.

The zone is in operation from 90 minutes prior to kick off to about 30 to 60 minutes after the final whistle. Residents’ parking zones are also in operation on match days, so it’s advised that supporters only use official car parks and avoid parking in residential areas.
