32 clubs from across the world will come together for the competition, which will see the winning club claim $1 million.
The competition is a seven against seven world championship and will be held at the WakeMed Stadium in Cary, North Carolina, between 1st and 4th June, with a group stage leading to a knockout phase.
The old gold team will be led by club legends, with the line up to be announced in due course.
Wolves are the tenth club to sign up, along with Wrexham, Clint Dempsey’s Team Dempsey, Hashtag United, Liga MX side Club Necaxa and US Women.
Russell Jones, general manager for marketing and commercial growth, said: “We are delighted to confirm our attendance at TST this summer. Taking part in innovative tournaments in the USA is deep-rooted in our history. Back in 1967, we were founders and champions of one of the first soccer tournaments on American soil – competing in the United Soccer Association, under the name of the Los Angeles Wolves.
“It’s been a pleasure working with the TST team so far and I speak for everyone at Wolves when I say we are all looking forward to competing and seeing our many US based fans at the tournament in June.”
TST founder and CEO Jon Mugar said: “We are excited to welcome the Wolves and their fanbase to TST. We anticipated our share of milestones, this being our first event, but I can't say we imagined a team being entered by a Premier League club. Fans will love seeing them compete in Cary.”
