End of season awards to be revealed after Everton match

Molineux will celebrate the achievements of its men's and women's first-teams after the match against Everton on Saturday, with a lap of appreciation and end of season awards ceremony taking place on the pitch.

The final whistle will signal the end of Wolves’ home fixtures for the 2022/23 Premier League season, presenting a special moment for supporters and players alike to express their gratitude following Julen Lopetegui’s side securing a sixth successive season of top-flight football.

Following full-time, the end of season ceremony will take place, which will see both men’s and women’s Player of the Season and Goal of the Season awards presented to the winners, which have been voted for by supporters.

There will also be the awards of men’s and women’s Players’ Player of the Season given out during in front of the fans, as the players themselves recognise the outstanding contribution of their teammates.

Wolves Women recently achieved another trophy triumph by securing the Birmingham County Cup last Tuesday evening at Molineux, having come second behind league champions Nottingham Forest on goal difference, and the players will proudly showcase the cup in front of supporters during a lap of appreciation.

Alongside their female counterparts, the men’s first-team players will also head round the pitch, accompanied by their families, as they take the opportunity to extend a heartfelt appreciation to the fans for their unwavering support throughout the season.

Supporters attending Saturday’s fixture are encouraged to remain in their seats after the full-time whistle to enable all fans to show their appreciation for the players, and the players to thank the fans in turn, as the 2022/23 Molineux campaign reaches its conclusion.
