Love Football, Protect The Game
The English football authorities recently launched a series of measure to help improve the behaviour of players, managers and coaches across the professional, National League system and grassroots game, as well as addressing the issue of football tragedy abuse. More information can be found here.
Wolves urges supporters to show respect and not chant songs that could be regarded as insulting to others, particulary relating to the Munich air disaster.
Engaging in chanting or other verbal or non-verbal actions or gestures concerning football or other tragedies (whether done at a match, in-person or remotely – via any electronic communication, social media or otherwise) is strictly forbidden.
Any individual found to have engaged in Tragedy Chanting will be subject to a ban from the ground and a breach may also subject the individual to a Football Banning Order, which would see them barred from any games in the UK, as well as not being able to travel to certain areas, or be allowed in pubs at game time and travel during tournament times.
