Wolves are encouraging fans from all corners of the globe to support a new flag display which is set to be installed within the Wolves Museum at Molineux.
Following a museum redesign, the club are reaching out to any supporter or supporter’s clubs who would be willing to donate a flag, or multiple flags, as part of a new display which is celebrating the fantastic support provided by the Old Gold fans, both locally and from across the world.
Flags will be hung from the ceiling of the Wolves Museum, in a similar way to how flags were displayed within the North Bank Bar during the 2022/23 season.
The museum team hope to create a hanging display that supporters can marvel at, as they walk underneath flags representing their undying support to the Old Gold.
Ancillary sales operation manager, Sam Warrington, is delighted with this planned new addition to the museum, adding: “Within the redesign of the Wolves Museum, we want to celebrate not only the team that represent us on the pitch, but the legions of fans throughout our history who have championed our club through the best times and the darkest ones as well.
“Supporters of this club are unlike any other. Our city is the club, and our club is the city. We are One Pack, fighting and cheering together.
“We are so lucky to have such a fantastic fan base, which is growing daily, nationally, and globally and it would be remiss of us not to show our appreciation of their support.
“Without our supporters, the club wouldn't be what it is today.”
Supporters who are interested in donating a flag for the Wolves Museum exhibition, either permanently or on a temporary basis, can email fanservices@wolves.co.uk for further information.
