The season finale of Sasa Kalajdzic: False Start is now live on club channels, documenting the striker’s return from injury to become a Premier League match winner.
After the Austrian suffered a serious ACL injury against Southampton last September, Kalajdzic was operated on and spent the last year recovering, with the help of his club, friends and family, which was covered in episodes one and two of the Wolve Studios documentary.
Now, the innovative documentary closes with the fairytale return for the striker, who was back on the pitch on the opening day at Manchester United and scored a late winner, his first goal for the club, in Wolves’ 1-0 win at Everton in August.
The third instalment begins with pre-season training in the Algarve, which Kalajzdic returned for, and continues through friendlies and into the start of the Premier League season, which featured a change in head coach, with Gary O’Neil joining the club.
The striker speaks exclusively to Wolves Studios throughout, providing an insight into the relief of being back, and the cameras go behind-the-scenes at Goodison Park, as the Austrian’s battle back to fitness ended perfectly.
Part one and part two have been released in recent weeks, and supporters can now find the third and final on Wolves’ official YouTube channel and Wolves TV.
