Wolves poppy shirts, worn against Sheffield United and in the dramatic victory over Tottenham Hotspur, are now being auctioned for charity.
Like in previous years, to mark Remembrance Weekend, Wolves joined clubs across the country in wearing poppy shirts, and now they’re being auctioned off to supporters to raise vital funds for the Royal British Legion.
The digital auction is live via matchwornshirt.com/poppy, with each shirt gaining value through the respective player’s autograph, providing a piece of Old Gold history.
Two separate auctions are live, from the clash at Bramall Lane, with Hee Chan Hwang currently bringing in the biggest price, and the Tottenham win, where goal scorers Pablo Sarabia and Mario Lemina are bringing in more than £1,400 each currently.

The Sheff United auction has four days remaining, while the Spurs auction will be active for another 11 days. As well as individual shirt auctions, supporters will also be added to an online draw, with the winner claiming a shirt signed by Gary O’Neil’s whole squad, with full terms and conditions available here.
The 2022/23 Poppy Appeal was a huge success, with Wolves supporters contributing to the £900,000 total, which aided the work of the Royal British Legion greatly.
The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal takes place each year, with the Legion leading the nation’s Remembrance, honouring the contributions of our Armed Forces community, past and present.
Worn for more than 100 years now, the poppy has become an enduring symbol of support for our Armed Forces, while Remembrance unites people of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds.
This year the paper poppy is now completely plastic-free and recyclable, and any bought will help the Legion’s Poppy Appeal provide vital support to the Armed Forces community and ensure their unique contribution is never forgotten.
