In a special episode of Wolves Weekly, Mikey Burrows is joined by former Wolves caretaker managers Steve Davis and James Collins as they reflect on their time in charge of the first-team, a year on.
On this week’s show, current under-21 head coach Collins and pathways manager Davis join Burrows as they talk about what it was like to coach in the Premier League after they took temporary charge of the first-team in the later months of 2022.
The trio discuss the decisions that were made during their two-month stint in the job, as they oversaw the side between the tenures of Bruno Lage and Julen Lopetegui and whether they would do anything differently looking back a year later.
Plus, the coaches give an insight into their day jobs within the academy, as they chat about how they develop young players, who they choose who goes out on loan and why success and failure are important parts in producing top level talent for the senior side.
