Wednesday’s episode of Wolves Express looks ahead to this Saturday's mouth-watering FA Cup quarter-final with Coventry City, as Mario Lemina, Matt Doherty and Tommy Doyle preview the all-West Midlands clash.
Molineux prepares for its first last eight tie in the historic cup competition since 2019, following wins over fellow Premier League outfits Brentford & Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as Black Country rivals West Bromwich Albion.
And it's another Championship club coming up this weekend, as well as another local side, in the form of Coventry City, and Lemina, Doyle and Doherty all give their thoughts on the Sky Blues, as well as looking back at the run to the quarter-finals, where they all played a pivotal role.
Doyle scored a screamer in the initial tie at Brentford to secure a replay, before Doherty set up Pedro Neto's opener at the Hawthorns and Lemina opened the scoring inside two minutes to help the Old Gold overcome the Seagulls in the last round.
Doherty also reflects on the previous quarter-final at Molineux, as he was part of the Wolves team to take down Manchester United five years ago, while listeners to the club's official bitesize podcast can also hear former captain Conor Coady's memories of that match.
Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of Wolves Weekly and Matchday Live Extra.
