Wolves Express | A day to forget at the Etihad

Saturday’s loss at Manchester City is dissected in the latest instalment of Wolves Express, while there's also focus on the women's first-team and under-18s as the end of the season approaches.

Gary O’Neil discusses the defeat at the Etihad and why he was takes responsibility for the individual mistakes by his players which allowed the reigning champions to find the back of the net five times, but also why he was disappointed with more officiating decisions which put his side behind to a contentious early penalty.

Skipper Maximilian Kilman also features on the podcast as he gives his reaction to Saturday's loss, as well as his own opinion on the penalty decision, which he felt was harsh on Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Monday's episode of the podcast also focuses on the final weeks of the campaign for Wolves Women, who ended their league season with a win over Liverpool Feds, and striker Amber Hughes and manager Dan McNamara reflect on that match, as well as look forward to next Tuesday's Birmingham Challenge Cup final as the side aim to make it three titles on the bounce.

Finally, the season came to an end for Wolves' under-18 side at the weekend, and they ended their campaign in style with a 3-1 win over Derby County at Compton Park which secured Richard Walker's boys a third place finish in the league, and the head coach looks back on another successful season for the academy.
