Wolves Express | Molineux season comes to a close

After Molineux's final home match of the season on Saturday, Monday's episode of Wolves Express reflects on the 2023/24 campaign, while looking ahead to what needs to improve during the summer.

Head coach Gary O'Neil kicks off Monday's episode of the club's official bitesize podcast, as he discusses the weekend's defeat to Crystal Palace and the reasons why Wolves weren't able to claim all three points in their final home match of the campaign.

Although pleased with the second half reaction from his players, O'Neil felt his team gave themselves too much to do after a disappointing first half display, but he insists there is plenty to improve during the summer so his team is ready for next season.

There is also reaction from Maximilian Kilman and Nelson Semedo, as the captain praises the impact of the fans on what has been his first with the armband, while Semedo talks about being voted by his teammates as the Players' Player of the Season and how he feels his fourth term in gold and black has been his best yet.

Listeners can also hear from legendary full-back Andy Thompson, who outlines his thoughts about the Palace loss, as well as the 2023/24 season as a whole while the players were taking part in their traditional end of season lap of appreciation around Molineux.

Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of Wolves Weekly and Matchday Live Extra.
