Wolves join JD in partnership

Wolves have welcomed JD on board with a new multi-year deal as the club’s official sleeve partner.

The deal will see the distinctive JD logo feature on the playing kits of all Wolves teams for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons, including the men’s and women’s first-teams, through to under-21s and the club’s entire academy set-up.

The partnership brings together two fast-growing global brands who stand united as leaders in the world of sports and fashion, with both parties sharing ambitious international growth plans.

To celebrate this innovative new partnership, JD and Wolves have collaborated with Wolves Records artist and Wolves Foundation ambassador Reepa and Birmingham born artist/producer Mutual to write and record a unique track and accompanying launch video.

The new track Green Light Grove features an incredible string arrangement by Rosie Danvers (Stormzy/Dave/Little Simz/Coldplay/Adele), which was brought to life by a 30-piece string orchestra from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire when they performed the track in the centre of the historic Molineux pitch to mark this significant moment for JD and the club.

Green Light Grove is available to stream across all major platforms here.

Russell Jones, Wolves’ general manager for marketing and commercial growth, said: “We are thrilled to welcome JD to our growing family of partners, and we look forward to bringing this partnership to life over the next two seasons.

“It’s clear that JD and Wolves share many values, and their interest in music and entertainment as well as football, meant that this partnership was a perfect fit.

“The partnership launch video, created in collaboration with JD, perfectly demonstrates both parties’ ambitions to stand out from the crowd and do things differently. We hope that this is just the start of things to come from this exciting partnership.”

Initially trading from a single store in Bury, Greater Manchester, JD now have over 1200 stores across 24 territories, including a strong presence in the UK, Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.

JD’s industry-leading proposition provides customers with unrivalled access to the finest brands by combining internationally recognised names with own-brand labels across sports, fashion and outdoor.

Speaking on the partnership, Michael Armstrong, global managing director at JD, said: “JD are delighted to welcome Wolves to our growing roster of top tier football sponsorships.

“This collaboration with Wolves marks a new chapter in our commitment to celebrating sports culture and amplifying the spirit of teamwork.

“We are thrilled to stand alongside Wolves and champion the values of passion, integrity, and excellence that define both our brands."
