New FPL season launched for 2024/25

With the new Premier League season now less than one month away, the official Fantasy Premier League game has now returned for 2024/25.

Managers can now start assembling their 15-man squads ahead of the new season but are able to make unlimited changes ahead of the first deadline in August.

All the usual rules apply, including owning a maximum of three players from one club, but there is one change – rather than two in previous years, managers can now carry over five transfers into the next game week, giving an unchanged squad more appeal.

With the release came all the details for the Wolves squad, including confirmed positions and prices.

Up front, Matheus Cunha, a big returner last season, is priced at £6.5m and new signing Jorgen Strand Larsen starts at £5.5m.

Pablo Sarabia, so often providing assists, is £5.5m and a midfielder, despite his advanced role, while defenders Rayan Ait-Nouri and Craig Dawson are both £4.5m.

Like last season, there’s serious appeal to Hee Chan Hwang, who hit double figures and is still listed as a midfielder, despite playing in the central striker role at times last season. He’s £6.5m and has taken penalty responsibilities in the past.
