Wolves Express hears from executive chairman Jeff Shi and Gary O'Neil as the club extends the head coach's stay at Molineux until 2028.
Exactly one year after joining the club, O'Neil has put pen to paper on a brand new contract and the head coach gives his thoughts on what convinced him to continue making Molineux his home for the next four years.
As well as the gaffer, his backroom team of Tim Jenkins, Shaun Derry, Ian Burchnall, Neil Cutler and Woody Dewar have all agreed new four-year deals, and O'Neil talks about his love for the club and how he and his staff are working hard to improve on their first year at the helm.
Listeners to the podcast can also hear from chairman Shi, making his debut on Wolves Express, as he outlines the reasons why he has extended O'Neil's tenure at the club, why the former Bournemouth boss is the most humble and hardest working managers he has worked with.
Shi also discusses the relationship he has built with O'Neil during the last 12 months, the chemistry the head coach has developed with his playing squad and how the improvements of individuals within the squad has played a key role in the contract extension.
Finally, ahead of the final pre-season friendly against Rayo Vallecano at Molineux on Saturday, Wolves' number nine Jorgen Strand Larsen shares his experiences of facing off against the La Liga side when he played against the with Celta Vigo, as well as how much it would mean to find the back of the net for the first time in gold and black in front of his new supporters.
Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
