Wolves Express | O'Neil and Johnstone on Newcastle preparations

Friday's episode of Wolves Express is out now, with Gary O'Neil and Sam Johnstone looking ahead to a Molineux return this weekend as Newcastle United provide a Premier League test.

Kicking off the podcast, the episode begins with the head coach as he looks ahead to another tough run of games but with a settled squad to choose from now the transfer window is closed and the players have returned from the international break.

But with a debate over who will be Wolves' number one going forward, O'Neil gives his thoughts on what both Johnstone and Jose Sa bring to the role as he expects the pair to fight for the shirt, as will every player in the squad, due to the depth now at the head coach's disposal.

Johnstone also features on Friday's episode of the podcast, as he talks about settling in at Molineux after signing on deadline day, his whirlwind first 48 hours as a Wolves player and the battle he has on his hands to claim the goalkeeper shirt off Sa on a permanent basis after making his debut against Nottingham Forest last time out.

While legendary goalscorer and club vice-president John Richards looks ahead to this weekend's clash with the Magpies in a game he describes as 'must win', while giving his thoughts on who O'Neil should be starting at Molineux on Sunday.

The latest clue in the 'Who Am I?' competition, which could help you win Pablo Sarabia's signed shirt, can also be found on Friday's episode of Wolves Express.

Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
