Matchday guide | Leicester vs Wolves

Wolves are making a short trip across the midlands on Sunday afternoon as Vitor Pereira's first game in charge comes against Leicester City in the Premier League.

A sold-out allocation of more than 3,200 supporters will be heading to the King Power Stadium for the 2pm kick-off.

Tickets for this fixture have all been delivered as physical tickets. If you have not received your tickets, please contact the team at fanservices@wolves.co.uk prior to Saturday afternoon.

Travel information

Trains | Leicester Train Station is roughly 1.2 miles from King Power Stadium, about a five-minute car journey or up to a 45-minute walk. 

Travelling by car and parking | The post code for the stadium is LE2 7FL and can be reached from Wolverhampton by using the M6 and M69 from Wolverhampton.  

For supporters driving to King Power Stadium, parking can be purchased prior to the day of the match for £19 per car on Leicester’s Filbert Street car park. To book, please call the City Sales Centre on 0344 815 5000 (Option 1).

There are also several independent car parks in the area surrounding King Power Stadium. These facilities generally cost £4/£5 per car. The car parks are situated around Freemans Common and Leicester Tigers Rugby Stadium which is around a 10-minute walk from King Power Stadium.

Travelling by official coach | The visiting supporters coach park location will be communicated between clubs leading up to the game.

Travel disruption - train | There’s reported travel disruption expected through CrossCountry trains on Sunday 22nd December.

Unfortunately, they are expecting severely overcrowded services due to Christmas travel, as well as range of engineering work being taken out.

They anticipate a significant impact on fans travelling to and from the fixture by train and would advise all supporters to allow extra time for their journey and to plan ahead.

Weather forecast

Overcast weather is expected in Leicester at the time of kick-off for Sunday’s fixture against the Foxes, with temperatures expected to be around 7 degrees Celsius.

Turnstile information and opening times

Turnstiles at the King Power Stadium open 90 minutes before kick-off. Supporters are advised to arrive early to support pre-match security and ticket checks.

Visiting supporters can access their area through turnstiles 40 to 49. The accessible entrance is at turnstiles 42 to 43.

Position of visiting supporters

Visiting supporters will be in the corner at the King Power, between the North Stand and East Stand.

Flags and banner information

Supporters wishing to bring flags and banners to the King Power Stadium should email a photo of the flag and its fire safety certificate along with the flag's dimensions to help@lcfc.co.uk for approval prior to the match.

Security information

Turnstiles will open around 90 minutes prior to kick off, at around 12.30pm.

Access to the stadium may be denied if you refuse to be searched by Leicester City’s officials.

Bag policy

We strongly recommend supporters to not take any bags to the King Power Stadium. Bags should be no larger than A4 size (297mm x 210mm) unless they are medical bags, which will be permitted.

Away pubs/bars

The designated pub for visiting supporters is The Counting House (LE2 7LH) on Freemans Park. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from King Power Stadium.

If you experience any form of harassment, discrimination or bullying at King Power Stadium, please email help@lcfc.co.uk or call 0344 815 5000 (Option 2).

If you experience a hate crime, please speak to your nearest steward. You can also report a hate crime by texting ‘FOXES’, followed by your message, seat details and the nature of your concern to 60066.

Accessible information

The visitors' section, accessible by wheelchair users from turnstiles 42-43, houses accessible toilets 25 metres from designated seating. All accessible toilets require RADAR keys, which can be obtained from stewards. All accessible toilets have a dropdown rail and an emergency alarm.

Other facilities available for supporters with disabilities include:

Audio descriptive service | Designed for supporters with visual impairments, a specially trained team provides an account of all the matchday action. This service is free* to use for supporters, who can listen to the action through headsets available from the matchday staff entrance an hour and a half before kick-off. Headsets should be returned to the same location after the match. *Failure to return the headset will incur an £80 fee – with deposit details taken on collection of the headset.

Hearing loops | Hearing loops are fitted and clearly signed at various locations around King Power Stadium including the ticket office, Foxes Fanstore, main reception and catering outlets.

Catering | Available in every stand throughout King Power Stadium, with low level access provided to all food counters (between 77cm – 109cm in height).

Car parking

Visiting supporters with disabilities can purchase car park spaces for £11 per car from their respective club, before the day of the game.
