Matchday guide | Bristol City vs Wolves

Wolves will get their FA Cup campaign underway on Saturday lunchtime with a visit to the south west to face Bristol City.

A sold-out allocation of more than 3,300 supporters will be heading to Ashton Gate for the 12pm kick-off.

Tickets for this fixture have all been delivered as physical tickets, either through the post or left to collect. If you have not received your tickets, please contact the team at fanservices@wolves.co.uk prior to Saturday.

Travel information

Trains | Ashton Gate is around a two-hour 45 minute journey from Wolverhampton via train and public transport. Bristol Temple Meads is the closest train station to the ground, and from there, there is around a 30-minute onward journey from the train station.   

Travelling by car and parking | The post code for the stadium is BS3 2EJ and can be reached from Wolverhampton by using the M5 from Wolverhampton.

Travelling by official coach | The visiting supporters coach park location will be on Ashton Vale Road around an 11-minute walk from the stadium.

Weather forecast 

Partly cloudy weather with sunny intervals is forecast on Saturday, with temperatures expected to be around two degrees Celsius at the time of kick-off.

Kits

Bristol City will likely be wearing their red home shirt and white shorts.

Wolves will be wearing the gold home shirt and gold shorts, with the goalkeeper wearing the green goalkeeper shirt and green shorts.

Turnstile information and opening times

Turnstiles at the Ashton Gate open around one and a half hours before kick-off at around 10.30am. Supporters are advised to arrive early to support pre-match security and ticket checks.

Position of visiting supporters

Visiting supporters will be in the Atyeo Stand.

Flags and banner information

Non-offensive flags or banners (2m x 2m or less) are permitted into Ashton Gate. Any flag over these sizes will need to be sent to Bristol City for approval ahead of the game.

All flags and banners will need to have a valid fire-safety certificate attached.

Security information

Turnstiles will open around one and a half hours prior to kick-off, around 10.30am.  

Bag policy

Supporters are asked to try and leave bags at home. Only bags that comply with Bristol City’s bag policy will be permitted entry into the stadium. No left luggage/bag drop facilities are available at the stadium.

If you have a medical condition that requires you to bring a bag or other equipment with you to a match, please email their disability access officer Gareth Torpy on gareth.torpy@bristol-sport.co.uk or SLO@bcfc.co.uk. They have a restricted bag policy and only those under the size of A4 will be allowed into the stadium and will be subject to a search.

Away pubs/bars

Wolves supporters travelling to the Bristol can use the CafeBar at the Tobacco Factory, which is around a 10-minute walk from the ground itself.
