Wolves Express | Kicking off 2025 against Forest

The first Wolves Express podcast of 2025 is available to listen to now and sees head coach Vitor Pereira and defender Matt Doherty look ahead to Monday evening's Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest.

With the visit of Forest under the lights at Molineux on Monday evening set to kick off the new year for Pereira's side, the head coach has spoken about how the team are going to set up with the absence of Matheus Cunha for the next two matches following the Brazilian's recent suspension.

There is also chat about the man who will be in the away dugout on Monday as Nuno Espirito Santo returns to the Black Country, with Pereira praising the work the former Wolves boss has made at the City Ground, and as January marks the opening of the transfer window, Pereira discusses the club's plans surrounding bringing new additions into his squad.

One of the current squad members who played under Nuno at Molineux, Matt Doherty, also features on the latest episode of Wolves Express, as the defender discusses the impact Pereira has had on the dressing room, after the Portuguese becomes his 10th manager of his time in Old Gold.

As well as looking back at last weekend's draw with his former side Tottenham Hotspur, Doherty reveals how he has coped with the change in his role on the pitch as Pereira has had him on the right side of the back three rather than as a wing-back, which he has spent much of his career to this point playing.

Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
