Wolves Express | Reflecting on a first defeat under Pereira

The latest episode of Wolves Express is out now as head coach Vitor Pereira, Matt Doherty and Rodrigo Gomes reflect on a first defeat of the Portuguese's tenure.

Nottingham Forest were the visitors to Molineux, under the lights on Monday evening, and the head coach shares his thoughts with the podcast, as - even though his side fell 3-0 to Forest - he believes his players gave their all in difficult circumstances.

Without the suspended Matheus Cunha, defenders Nelson Semedo, Toti and Craig Dawson through injury, as well as Andre as the Brazilian had travelled home to be with his wife as she gave birth to their second son, Pereira felt his side played their own game and battled as hard as they could, but also has his say on what the club need to do in the January transfer window.

Rodrigo Gomes also features on the first Wolves Express episode of the week as the wing-back, who was very lively throughout the 90 minutes as he operated on both sides of the pitch, feels the glorious chances which were not taken by those in gold and black were the main difference between themselves and Forest.

After captaining the team for the first time in his Wolves career, Doherty reiterates Gomes' opinion on how the missed chances in front of goal could have seen the game go a different way, while he also chats about his transition to centre-back under Pereira.

The episode concludes with the thoughts of the Matchday Live Extra team of Lee Naylor and Andy Thompson who lamented the missed opportunities from the Old Gold attackers at Molineux.
