Matchday guide | Blackburn vs Wolves

Wolves will continue their FA Cup campaign on Sunday lunchtime with a visit to Lancashire and a fourth round tie against Blackburn Rovers.

A sold-out allocation of more than 4,200 supporters will be heading to Ewood Park for the 12.30pm kick-off against the Championship outfit.

Tickets for this fixture have been delivered as digital tickets on the 6th February. If you have not received your tickets, please contact the team at fanservices@wolves.co.uk prior to the weekend.

Wolves' ticket office will be open on Saturday from 9am to 1pm if supporters have any further questions regarding their tickets. They can be reached on 0371 222 1877 or by visiting the ticket office in person. 

If you have an issue with your ticket on the day of the game, please visit the Blackburn Rovers ticket office, and they’ll be able to assist further.   

Travel information

Trains | Ewood Park is around a two-hour 50 minute journey from Wolverhampton via train and public transport. Preston is the nearest station supporters can get to from Wolverhampton, connecting there to Blackburn Station. From there, it’s around a 10 minute bus journey to the ground.

We are aware that due to strike action there is severe disruption to rail services on Sunday. With the last remaining post-game Avanti West Coast train leaving Preston for Wolverhampton now cancelled. We strongly advise supporters to consider alternative options if planning to travel by rail.    

Travelling by car and parking | The post code for the stadium is BB2 4JF and can be reached from Wolverhampton by using the M6 Northbound from Wolverhampton.

Travelling by official coach | The visiting supporters coach park location will likely be at the stadium itself, but this will be communicated to supporters ahead of the visit.

Travel disruption

Due to strike action across the rail network over the weekend, train services to Preston and subsequently to Blackburn are expected to be severely restricted and extremely busy.

With the last remaining post-game Avanti West Coast train leaving Preston for Wolverhampton now cancelled, we strongly advise supporters to consider alternative arrangements if planning to travel by train.

Roadworks near Ewood Park

There are currently roadworks in place near the stadium for any supporters travelling from the northern or western side of the stadium.

Away fans are advised to travel via the M65 and leave at junction 4 for Ewood Park.

Road closures post-match

Please be aware that a block is put on movement of traffic after full time for 15 minutes.

Partly cloudy weather with sunny intervals are forecast on Sunday, with temperatures expected to be around five degrees Celsius at the time of kick-off.

Turnstile information and opening times

Turnstiles at Ewood Park open 90 minutes before kick-off at around 11am. To avoid delays, please arrive at least 45 minutes early.

Position of visiting supporters

Visiting supporters will be in the Bryan Douglas Darwen End stand.    

Cashless stadium 

Ewood Park is a cashless stadium and will only accept payment via card. Each area also accepts contactless payments using Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Security information

Turnstiles will open around one and a half hours prior to kick-off, at 10.30am.  

In line with ground regulations you can expect to be searched prior to entry and ejected from the ground or premises if the terms and conditions of entry are breached.

In line with safeguarding standards, Blackburn has a minimum age requirement for entry. All children under the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Ewood Park is a non-smoking/vaping venue. A limited smoking facility is provided at half time.

Bag policy

For supporters’ safety, random searches of bags will be conducted.

Away pubs/bars

There are a number of pubs who will accept away supporters in their establishment. Some pubs may limit the number of visiting fans entering the establishment, they may request you to hide your club colours, or not allow children.

Recommended away pubs: The Black Bull, The Golden Cup, The Fernhurst, White Bull Inn, and Navigation Inn.
