Wolves Express | Djiga reveals Wolves ambitions

Wednesday's episode of Wolves Express is now available and features an exclusive first interview with new signing Nasser Djiga.

The Burkina Faso international put pen to paper on deadline day and after training with the team just once ahead of the trip to Blackburn Rovers on Sunday, is still waiting to make his Old Gold bow.

Djiga could earn his debut against Liverpool this weekend, and the defender has spoke - in his native French - about how he believes he is ready for the step up from playing in Serbia with Red Star Belgrade to the Premier League, and how his experiences in the Champions League during the first half of this season will help him achieve his aims.

The centre-back also shares his initial thoughts on becoming a Wolves player and how he had made no hesitation in moving to Molineux as soon as he heard the club was interested in him.

The latest episode of the club's official podcast also hears from legendary Wolves Women defender Claire Hakeman who is now working at the club as part of the operations team, which plays a vital role in ensuring matches for the academy and women's teams can go ahead as smoothly as possible for everyone involved.

As part of her role, she played a key part in the women's first-team achieving their record attendance against Manchester United on Saturday, and she reveals all the work that went into that historic fixture at SEAH Stadium.

Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
