Despite defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, Vitor Pereira, Nelson Semedo and Andy Thompson all shared positives on the latest Wolves Express episode.
Head coach Pereria admits on the podcast that he didn’t recognise his team before the break at Anfield but revealed his half-time message which led to a much-improved performance, giving him confidence moving forward.
His captain Semedo is also taking a lot from the second 45 minutes, where he saw a team fighting for every ball, but he knows lessons must be learned from the opening half.
Thompson was in the press box speaking on Matchday Live Extra and he carried a similar message, that the Old Gold lacked sharpness before the break, but gave their everything after it.
