Wolves Express | Injury time equaliser costly for Wolves Women

Wednesday's episode of Wolves Express is out now and features a conversation with Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and reflection on what could be a costly result for Wolves Women's title hopes.

The latest episode of the club's quickfire podcast opens with reflections on Sunday's 3-3 draw with Hull City which is expected to have huge ramifications for the women's first-team's push for promotion. With Wolves fighting against Nottingham Forest for the only promotion place, defender Katie Johnson and head coach Dan McNamara both suggest dropping points so late on in the campaign - and with Forest having a game in hand - has seen their title hopes slip away.

Despite the result and a poor showing in Yorkshire, McNamara has plenty of pride in his players who have beaten expectations this season to even be battling for a title against a fully professional Forest team, and admits achieving a second place finish would be his greatest achievement as Wolves Women boss.

There is also reaction from the TNT Sports team of Joe Cole and Peter Crouch who witnessed Wolves' Premier League draw with Everton on Saturday evening, while Bellegarde - who once again displayed his qualities at Molineux - discusses how he has improved under Vitor Pereira.

And finally, as he celebrates his 28th birthday tomorrow and ahead of facing Southampton this weekend, we hear from Ruben Neves who was at Molineux for the return fixture back in November, which saw the Old Gold claim their first win of the season.

Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
