Matchday guide | Wolves Women vs West Bromwich Albion

Wolves Women take to the Molineux pitch for the first time this season on Sunday when rivals West Bromwich Albion visit in the FAWNL Northern Premier Division.

For all those attending the derby, below is everything you need to know…

TICKETS

Remaining tickets for this fixture are still available now and can be purchased through the ticketing website or by calling the ticket office on 03712221877.

Tickets are priced online at £7 for adults, and £3 for U21s and Concessions. Supporters who hold a men’s first team season ticket will be able to purchase for the reduced rate of £3 per ticket.

Tickets can be purchased online up till kick-off and will be issued as Print At Home tickets. All tickets must be printed in high quality or shown on a mobile device at the turnstile.

The ticket office is in the corner of the Billy Wright and Stan Cullis Stands and will be open from 1pm up until 3pm.

All supporters must have a ticket to enter the ground, and there will be no ‘pay on the gate’ available.

We strongly advise supporters to purchase their ticket ahead of the matchday where possible. 

KITS

Wolves Women will be wearing the gold and black home shirt and black shorts, with the goalkeeper wearing the green goalkeeper shirt and green shorts.

West Bromwich Albion Women will be wearing their navy and white home shirt and navy shorts, with the goalkeeper wearing the yellow goalkeeper shirt and yellow shorts.

WEATHER FORECAST

Overcast weather is forecast at Molineux on Sunday afternoon, with temperatures expected to be around 13 degrees Celsius at the time of kick-off.

TRAVEL ADVICE

Darlington Street in Wolverhampton city centre is still closed to carry out improvement works. A road diversion is in place via Ring Road and Waterloo Road. For more information, please click here.   

WOLVES 10K EVENT

The area surrounding the stadium will likely be extremely busy in the morning of the Matchday due to the Wolves 10K Event taking place at Molineux.

The city council have made some changes regarding one-way, waiting, loading and match day parking in Staveley Road, Leicester Street and other roads. These changes have now come into effect and may impact upon supporters and their usual journeys when travelling to and from Molineux on home matchdays.

Staveley Road will be made one-way southbound from Dunstall Road to Waterloo Road

Loading restrictions will be introduced and bollards will be installed to prevent Staveley Road being obstructed. Parking bays will be provided

ENTERING THE STADIUM

Supporters will only be able to gain entry to the stadium using the turnstile block designated on their ticket.

Security and bag searches will take place at the turnstiles. Bags larger than an A4 size will not be permitted. Supporters may be requested to open your own bag to allow it to be searched.

All supporters over the age of 14 will be searched by a steward when entering the stadium.

FOOD AND DRINK

Concourse catering kiosks will be open inside the stadium for this fixture serving food hot and cold drinks and alcoholic drinks.

A wide range of food options will be available, with both vegan and vegetarian alternatives provided.

Molineux is a cashless stadium and supporters are advised to ensure they have card or contactless payment ready when being served.

TICKET OFFICE

The ticket office is located between the Stan Cullis and Billy Wright Stands and will be open for in person visits from 1pm until just after kick-off at 3pm.

Their phone lines will not be open on Sunday.  

MOLINEUX MEGASTORE

The Molineux Megastore is in the Stan Cullis Stand and will be open from 10am up until kick-off.

There will be up to 40% off on most items across the Megastore.  

Programmes will be available to buy at the Megastore at £3 each.

Come and get your Wolves shirt personalised with Hero shirts available for selected Wolves Women players.

Limited edition Wolves Women Scarfs have been produced especially for this fixture, just £10 to purchase or free if you spend over £40.

Wolves Women clappers will be distributed in the club shop and around the stadium too.

FAN SERVICES

The Fan Services team will be reachable by email and social media from 1pm till 3pm on matchday to answer any matchday enquiries.

Supporters can also find up-to-date information on the Fan Services X page at x.com/wolveshelp. Direct Messages relating to the fixture will be monitored from 1pm up until kick-off too.

MATCHDAY PROGRAMME

Matchday programmes will be available to purchase at £3 at various points around the ground – look out for the return of the Wolves Women autograph page!

TRAVELLING TO MOLINEUX

With a large number of people trying to get to Molineux Stadium on a matchday, we are very conscious of the impact on the environment and our neighbours.

When making your journey to Molineux Stadium we ask you, wherever possible, to consider travel options that will help us to reduce local traffic jams and inconsiderate parking around the stadium.

PARKING

Supporters can check availability for official matchday parking and book spaces here.

ROAD CLOSURES

Whilst normal road closures will not be in place for the fixture, there will be road closures for the Wolverhampton 10K Race that is due to take place on the morning.

The impact of these road closures is expected to be between 8.30am and 12pm.

AWAY FANS

Visiting supporters will be located in the NL5 area of the Stan Cullis Stand for this fixture and can enter the stadium via Turnstile Block ND.

LEAVING MOLINEUX

After final whistle at Molineux, roads leading away from the stadium are immediately very congested leading both into the city centre and outwardly too.

There are walking routes back into the city centre, where the bus, coach and train stations are located.

Official car parks will reopen around 10 to 20 minutes after the final whistle but can also change at the discretion of the Matchday Safety Officer.

Friendly stewards will also be located around the area as you leave and will be happy to answer any questions supporters may have whilst leaving the stadium.
