Wolves qualify for R6 tournament in Malta

Wolves Esports’ Rainbow Six Siege team has qualified for the Malta Cyber Series VIII to be held in Malta in March.

The team qualified in first place from the Last Chance Qualifier taking the first seed and earning themselves a pass for the first round in Malta and going straight through to the upper bracket semifinals.

Some good performances and entertaining Siege, especially against fellow tier 1 teams Fnatic and ENCE, booked the team’s ticket to Malta for the second year in a row.

Last year the team’s tournament rather prematurely fizzled out in the lower bracket quarter final against Team 86 where they suffered a 2-1 defeat and elimination from the competition.

This year the team are hoping to build on last year’s performance as they take on Team Secret, ENCE, Fnatic, Into the Breach and MACKO Esports as they bid to be crowned Malta Cyber Series VIII champions and claim their share of the $20,000 prize pool.

The three-day tournament begins on 14 March and concludes 16 March with extensive coverage on the Wolves Esports social media channels as well as the official Wolves app.
