This week’s FPL deadline arrives on Friday evening this week and wolves.co.uk provides transfer options from both camps.
Last time out…
Matheus Cunha (£5.7m) | Goals: 5 | Assists: 3 | Next three: WHU (A), CHE (H), BRE (A)
Matheus Cunha has provided attacking returns in his last five matches. Having assisted twice and scored twice in his previous four, the Brazilian top scored for the Old Gold last weekend against Nottingham Forest. That equalising goal helped him earn maximum bonus points, leaving him on a haul of nine points and 31 in five matches. With three fixtures rated three out of five on the FPL difficulty gauge, is it time to bring him in?
Harry Toffolo (£4.4m) | Goals: 1 | Assists: 3 | Next three: TOT (H), BOU (H), NEW (A)
Forest’s goal came courtesy of full-back Harry Toffolo, who top scored for them with eight at Molineux. As a defender, his header earned him six points, which added to his two match points to make eight. The former Huddersfield Town man has also chipped in with three assists this season and Forest now have two games at the City Ground, where they’ve been impressive until recently.
This week…
Pablo Sarabia (£4.7m) | Goals: 1 | Assists: 3 | Next three: WHU (A), CHE (H), BRE (A)
Pablo Sarabia has returned to the Wolves fore again of late and provided an attacking return last time out. The Spaniard provided the assist for Cunha’s goal against Nottingham Forest and will hope to retain his shirt in the capital. That assist was Sarabia’s third of the season and he’s chipped in with a goal of his own. With an ownership of 0.2%, he provides a differential option priced at under £5m.
Jarrod Bowen (£7.7m) | Goals: 9 | Assists: 1 | Next three: WOL (H), MNU (H), ARS (A)
Only three players have scored more Premier League goals than Jarrod Bowen this season with nine. The midfielder netted against Tottenham Hotspur in gameweek 15, which helped him on to his 86 points for the season. He’s been picked in 21.2% of FPL teams, making him the 13th most popular option. After Wolves, the Hammers face Manchester United and Arsenal either side of Christmas, and Bowen will back himself to bag once again.
