FPL tips | Cunha the second most transferred in

Wolves’ upturn in form has seen their FPL players rise in stock and, ahead of the latest deadline, here are some options being considered.

The in-form option

Matheus Cunha | Round points: 16 | Cost: £7.0m | Total points: 75

As has been in the case in recent weeks, Matheus Cunha is Wolves’ in-form man on Fantasy Premier League. For the second week running he hit double figures for points last week, recording a season high of 16 at Fulham thanks to his two goals and one assist. The Brazilian’s price is rising each week, and he’s hit £7.0m for the first time this season, but his record speaks for itself.

The Bournemouth link

Nelson Semedo | Cost: £4.5m | Total points: 19

Nelson Semedo is the only remaining defender from the back four which last kept a clean sheet against Bournemouth. The £4.5m FPL asset has been a regular in the Old Gold side again this term and has two assists to his name, which came in back-to-back wins over Brentford and Manchester City. He helped Wolves to a clean sheet in his last Molineux outing against Southampton.

The Cherries asset

Evanilson | Cost: £6.0m | Total points: 47

Bournemouth’s leading men on FPL this season and Evanilson and Antoine Semenyo, who is out through suspension at the weekend. The attacker, joint with Semenyo on 47 points, has been selected in 2% of teams, having moved to the Premier League in the summer. He scored in three successive matches before blanking last time out.

The Challenge option

Mohammed Salah | Cost: £12.0m | Total points: 120

Liverpool and Manchester City do battle in the Premier League on Sunday and FPL Challenge players can earn double from their assets. Mohammed Salah and Erling Haaland are the big hitters in each camp. Given Salah is the highest point earn in the game by some way, he’ll be a popular selection once more.
