FPL tips | Hwang hitting form for Wolves

Fantasy Premier League managers are assembling their first teams of 2025 and here are options from Wolves against Nottingham Forest no doubt being considered.

The in-form option

Hee Chan Hwang | Round points: 7 | Price: £6.1m | Total points: 25

Hee Chan Hwang has returned to form at an ideal time for Wolves, hitting his first goals of the season in the past two games. The South Korean opened the scoring at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, having also netted against Manchester United, and will hope to retain his shirt with Matheus Cunha out suspended on Monday. He claimed seven points for his efforts at Spurs.

Providing assists

Rayan Ait-Nouri | Round points: 10 | Price: £4.8m | Total points: 56

On Sunday at Spurs Rayan Ait-Nouri helped himself to another two assists for Hwang and Jorgen Strand Larsen. The Algerian, once again utilised at left wing back, is now up to five assists for the season, having also netted three times himself. Still priced below £5m, will he be drafted in to create, having also kept a clean sheet in his last Molineux outing against Manchester United?

The Forest threat

Chris Wood | Price £6.7m | Total points: £6.7m

Chris Wood is one of just eight players to have hit the 100-point mark in Fantasy Premier League so far this term. The striker is on 106 points and grabbed 12 of them at the weekend with a goal and assist against Everton. The New Zealander scored in the draw between Forest and Wolves back in the summer too, but had gone three games without a return before visiting Goodison Park.

The Challenge option

Cole Palmer | Price: £11.4m | Total points: 143

It’s the last of the ‘Festive Fixtures’ round on FPL Challenge this week and there’s a focus on big chances created. Any player who creates a big chance will earn an additional five points. While the inured Bukayo Saka is top of chances created in the Premier League this season, Cole Palmer is second with 15. He faces Crystal Palace and will be selected in a number of teams.
