FPL tips | Cunha back in the goals

As Wolves head to Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend, managers are assembling their FPL teams and below are four options potentially being considered.

The in-form option

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde | Round points: 4 | Price: £5.3m

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde’s recent form is increasing his threat as an FPL differential, priced at just £5.3m. The Frenchman assisted Matheus Cunha at Anfield after coming off the bench and impressing, so will hope he’s done enough to earn a start. Before Liverpool in the Premier League, Bellegarde scored against Aston Villa to earn a double figure haul.

The Cherries link

Matheus Cunha | Total points: 132 | Price: £6.8m

Matheus Cunha was on target during Wolves’ last visit to the Vitality Stadium last season. The Brazilian netted in a 2-1 win that day, and heads to Dorset as an in-form man again. Cunha has scored in his past three matches – two in the Premier League – and now only six players in the game have scored more FPL points this season than the 25-year-old.

The Bournemouth threat

Justin Kluivert | Total points: 128 | Price: £6.0m

Bournemouth’s star FPL man this season has been Justin Kluivert, who has four fewer points than Cunha. The midfielder has been selected in 27.1% of teams and costs £6.0m. Kluivert scored a hat-trick of penalties in the reverse fixture at Molineux and has hit double figures in two of his past four outings. Last week he earned an assist in Bournemouth’s win at Southampton.

The Challenge option

Fabian Hurzeler | £1.1m

Players of FPL Challenge must select a manager to earn extra points this weekend. The trick is picking a manager you think will guide their team to victory, while keeping the costs down. Fabian Hurzeler led Brighton & Hove Albion to victory last weekend and now they face bottom Southampton. He costs £1.1m, which saves £0.4 on the most popular assets.
