Wolves are aiming to win their fourth Premier League match in succession for the first time ever when Vitor Pereira’s side host Tottenham Hotspur at Molineux on Sunday afternoon.

After naming an unchanged team for the past four games, in which Wolves have drawn with Everton before beating Southampton, West Ham United and Ipswich Town during Matheus Cunha’s four-match suspension, there were questions marks as to whether the Brazilian would come straight back into the side for the visit of Tottenham to Molineux, but Pereira revealed in his pre-match press conference that he will name the same 11 for the fifth time in a row on Sunday, but did indicate Wolves’ top scorer will be named among the substitutes. The head coach also told the press that defender Pedro Lima will not be in the squad this weekend after suffering an injury to his ankle in training on Friday morning.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have missed several key players at crucial times throughout this season, but heading into Sunday’s clash, the Australian is only set to be without long-term absentee Radu Dragusin, while describing Dejan Kulusevski and defender Kevin Dans, who both missed Thursday’s Europa League tie with Eintracht Frankfurt, as 'touch and go’ ahead of the weekend. Spurs were handed a fitness boost in midweek with the return of defenders Micky van de Ven and Destiney Udogie to the starting 11, with the pair coming through 90 and 79 minutes respectively, but with the crucial second leg of their Europa League quarter-final coming up on Thursday, Postecoglou hinted at making changes and freshening up his team for their visit to Molineux.

3 | Journey to Sunday
One of the form teams in the Premier League, Wolves have been on quite the journey under Pereira since his arrival in late December. The Portuguese has already overseen a meeting with Spurs this season, having been in charge for the 2-2 reverse fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in just his third game at the helm. Wolves were five points adrift of safety when he joined, but the team are now 12 points clear thanks to three wins on the bounce, with the Old Gold taken down Southampton, West Ham and Ipswich either side of the international break, while striker Jorgen Strand Larsen became the first ever Wolves player to score in three successive wins in the Premier League. The last time Wolves won four top flight games in a row was half a century ago.
Sunday’s visitors come into the game off the back of a disappointing spell under Postecoglou, with Spurs having picked up just four points from their last five Premier League outings. Their only win since a 1-0 loss to Manchester City in late February was last weekend, in which Tottenham put the final nail in Southampton’s coffin. They lost to Chelsea and Fulham as well as earning a point at home to Bournemouth during this spell, but they have enjoyed their midweek European jaunts more this season. On Thursday evening, Spurs played out a 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt in north London and will go to Germany next week with hopes of securing a semi-final spot.
4 | Sarabia leads the fightback
Just under 18 months ago, Wolves hosted Tottenham at Molineux on a day where Pablo Sarabia was the hero for the Old Gold. Just as he did last weekend away at Ipswich, the Spaniard came off the bench to inspire Wolves to a come-from-behind victory, by scoring the equaliser before assisting the winner. Against Tottenham last season, Wolves were staring down the jaws of defeat after Brennan Johnson’s early opener, but as the clocked ticked into second half injury time, Sarabia provided some magic to get his team back on level terms when he took Matheus Cunha’s cross under his spell with his first touch before slamming home at volley at the near post. Then, right at the death, the Spaniard turned provider, picking out the run of Mario Lemina, who’d ghosted into the Spurs box, and the midfielder guided his effort into the bottom corner to complete Wolves’ dramatic comeback.
