As Wolves prepare to face Manchester United at Old Trafford, Fantasy Premier League managers will be selecting their squads before the deadline, and here's who they may be considering.
The in-form option
Rayan Ait-Nouri | Price: £4.8m | Round points: 14 | Season points: 104
Rayan Ait-Nouri hit a double figure haul in Wolves’ impressive win over Tottenham Hotspur last weekend. The Algerian fired home the opener, before providing the assist for Jorgen Strand Larsen after the break. That performance left the left-back as the most effective Premier League defender for goal involvements, with four goals and six assists this term.

The Man United link
Matheus Cunha | Price: £6.8m | Season points: 150
Matheus Cunha scored on his return from suspension to complete the scoring in the win over Spurs and scooped seven FPL points. Ahead of the trip to Old Trafford, Vitor Pereira must decide if to hand the Brazilian a start. Against United on Boxing Day the attacker brought home 12 points, having scored and assisted in the 2-0 win, so has history against the Red Devils.
Man United’s threat
Bruno Fernandes | Price: £8.6m | Season points: 159
Bruno Fernandes is 45 points ahead of his nearest competitor as United’s best FPL asset this season. The Portuguese has 159 points to his name, having scored eight and provided 11 assists. He brought in 17 points against Leicester last month but has blanked in his three matches since.
The Challenge option
Cole Palmer | Price: £10.7m | Season points: 192
FPL Challenge players this week will earn double points from Chelsea or Fulham assets, with the West London rivals meeting this weekend. It means Cole Palmer is an obvious pick. Despite his lengthy run without a goal, the England international is still providing assists and, being sat on 192 points, he could hit the 200 mark this weekend.
