In a vote run by fan engagement experts, Snack Media, Wolves’ Portuguese winger triumphed with 24% of the vote, edging out second-placed Albert Adomah of Aston Villa (21%).
In the second of four divisional votes carried out over seven days via Snack’s digital and social networks, it was clear that Cavaleiro’s four goals in November for high-flying Wolves represented an impressive feat in the eyes of football fans.
The full list of contenders from the final shortlist polled were as follows:

- Leon Clarke (Sheffield United) - 20%
- Matej Vydra (Derby County) - 15%
- Barry Douglas (Wolves) - 12%
