A proud product of the Wolves Academy, the defender joined the club as a youngster and made his first-team debut in 2010 against Southend United.
Batth later became Wolves captain and has made more than 200 appearances in gold and black, helping the club to the League One title in 2014 and Championship title last season.
The 27-year-old joins Tony Pulis’ Boro in a strong position, second in the Championship, with only goal difference keeping them off top spot.
They face the league leaders Leeds United on Friday evening and Batth’s loan move will allow him to feature at the Riverside Stadium.
Everyone at Wolves would like to wish Danny the very best of luck for the upcoming season.
