There has been a great level of consistency in Bruno Lage’s defence during this campaign, with Conor Coady and Maximilian Kilman playing almost every minute of football, while Romain Saiss, who is about to re-join the side after his Africa Cup of Nations campaign came to an end on Sunday afternoon, saw his place filled seamlessly by Toti Gomes, to concede just four goals in the last ten top-flight matches.
But Sa insists it’s not just the defence who should be praised for their goal conceding records this season, as the work begins right from the forwards.
On the watertight Wolves defence
“They’re amazing. They give me a lot of confidence and stability. When I miss something, they are there for me.
“When they miss, me and other defenders are there to help them. This is our point – we defend all together and attack all together.”
On the support of the fans
“It’s good to have them support us and of course I am happy that they support me and sing my song.
“But I am here to continue fighting for this team and I will continue doing that.”
On his first six months at Molineux
“It is very good, We have a very good team with good people working with us. They help us a lot and for me it is a pleasure to play here in the Premier League because it is the best championship in the world.
“I will continue to fight for this team because the good moment is not mine, it is from all the team. We are like a family.”

On a positive start
“We didn't start very well with three losses, but we kept fighting and started winning. This good moment is from all of the team, it's not about one or two players, all the team is fighting.
“We go up together. If somebody misses, we have someone there to help and this is our target. Like I say, we are a family.”
