Bid for match worn signed Wolves shirts and support the Foundation

Supporters can now bid on the match worn and match issued signed Wolves home shirts from Sunday’s Premier League victory against Leicester City – with proceeds going to the Wolves Foundation.

The funds raised will support the Foundation to continue their work with residents from across the city of Wolverhampton.

Wolves Foundation engages with all ages and abilities to positively impact the lives of thousands of people, particularly around improving employment opportunities, reducing food poverty rates, and supporting mental health and wellbeing.

The shirts were worn by the players who overcame the Foxes 2-1, thanks to goals from Ruben Neves and Daniel Podence, helping the team back to seventh in the Premier League table.

It was Wolves’ sixth league win from their last eight games and was also noteworthy for the identity of the scorers.

For Neves, who chalked up the accolade of 200 Wolves appearances in the win at Tottenham Hotspur the previous weekend, it was his first goal at Molineux in just over a year, since the victory against Arsenal in February 2021, while Podence’s clinical winner was his first Premier League goal of the season.

The shirts, which will be issued with a Certificate of Authenticity, are being sold via the matchwornshirt.com website.

Bidding ends on Sunday 6th March 2022 at 2pm.
